Phew! What a day it was. Didn't expect it to be so hectic. On d move, on d run. Let me share some things.

1st trip 2 ISTANA
NYC invited me, as the HOS, as an invited guest for the Singapore Youth Awards (SYA) 2006 Presentation @ d ISTANA. Ok...

Well i thought it was just a formal event. So i thought just wearing a formal shirt n pants would be enough. The event was at 4pm. N here i was at home at 12pm, just read through the invitation card, n saw a lounge suit! What a lounge suit? Gila kau! Ape kebenda tu!

And mind u, at that time, i was bz preparing for a presentation / workshop for tonite! (i'll talk abt this later. Ni pon crite best)

So back to d lounge suit thingy, not knowing wat kinda dress code dis is, i check at the internet, - 2 piece suit - jacket/blazer n pants! Wat the! Mana sih gue mau carik itu binatang blazer.

I called anyone i know, j'man, safarin, my brother, mustafa, khairu, nazree, sean, azlan, hasrudi, imad, rizal n more. And d ans were like, takda, pinjam orang, takda size, lain material or tak angkat telepon.

Its 12.30! Sape lagi eh? Haa! VP Perdaus! Haha! Bro Effendy Ibrahim! N true enough dia ade. Then best, he said his leaving home at 1.30! N im still at home at 12.40pm at Yishun n his at Simei! Baik aah fiz! Ape lagi! Zooooom....

K lets cut d trip n go straight to d main event. Hehe...

Outside the ISTANA
Very tight security. So many Police Officers on duty! (like duh.. Its d istana) I was checked atas bawah n inside out (over seh..) But still had to go through metal detector, n my bag was opened n checked. Well u noe, SOP. Can't run away from tt.

So i was ushered to move up ahead. N was asked to wait. Actually we r not allowed to walk from d gate to the istana itself alone. Yeah. Kena naik bus. Style.. Haha..

So in the bus as i approach the istana, i saw a Golf Course! He have his own golf course! Like wow! Over! Hehe.. Quite big lah..

Soon i saw it. The building, like wow! It really looks so majestic. A real ISTANA! Its super white n quite huge!

N so i was inside. Subhanallah.. Its really quite a beautiful place. I super love d chandelliers. It was crystal clear magnificent! U noe, like in the 2d enhanced of the Beauty and the Beast. Yeah.

Btw 5 great yths were presented 4 the SYA. Miss Eunice Olsen 4 community service, Ronald Susilo 4 sports n 3 others tt includes a Dr. who is world ranked 6th in Ironmen, a chinese teacher n an entrepreneur.

For the team SYA, 4PM won. They have reached over 200,000 yths over the years and currently managing over 400 volunteers, both active and adhocs.

Well i didn't get to take a picture of d SYA throphy. Well its super huge!

There was also a medal of commendation tt was given to those who are still contributing greatly, 5 years after they won the SYA.

Yeah...
Then lepas tu makan.. in this big hall... waah...

N lepas tu, met chris, a fren from NTUWS, whom i met and made frens with during my YCM times..

oklah.. tu jer for now... daaa!!!
