SURPRISE!!!!!


Happy birthday!!! ermm... to who? to me? naaa... not my birthday today... but... erm... its on next 2 days.. as in this Saturday! hehe 25th Nov....

Farnie huh... my colleagues made a surprise birthday thingy for me... aaaaww... u guys so sweet... Well they thought i wld be ard tomorow, so they can plan sumting... but alas... im on leave tomorow, as i got to study for my exam on berfday (sat) sianzz.. but takpe insyaALLAH..

Touching aah u all... i got a birthday card from them... hehe.. cute... pic of a dog? hmmm ok.. no worries... the thing is, everyday i got hit by this colleague of mine, for making noise n annoying sound n songs n music... all from this mouth.. so.. she will like "Hafiz!!!" then she throws her plush toy dog at me.. n we all laugh2! LOL... hehe...

Yeah.. they got me a book... RED BOOK! n im wearing red today... ouh wat a coincidence! The book title is... "What is Graphic Design for?" Macam "Ouch" eh... mcm perli gitu kan... haha.. hehe.. but its ok... it really is a good resource book for more graphics n design ideas... yup2....

INSEAD, my company, always have some kinda welfare2 thingy for the employees... got this other card and also a TAKASHIMAYA voucher.. coolness... ermm... for me? ermm... i don really go for shopping huh... who wants? Raise ur shopping hands!!

Ok, wont make my birthday speech here.. kos.. not the exact time yet..

Weekend updates!!

Hmm.. wat to update?

Saturday...
Wanted to start on assignment.. but kena jadi mr cinderella... then send ummi to dentist.. adik join segigi (patutnye sekaki)...
Then ada dpi.... on tarikh tasyri'.. ada grp discussion, setiap seorang jadi pengikut 4 diff mazhab n jawab tentang wat we noe abt their teachings n bla bla, like their takes on hadith, khabar ahad, their books, qaul sahabat where they study n all.. interesting.. i got to be imam syafie... gues wat, i didnt realise he was allowed n able to give fatwa since he was 15 years old!!! ALLAHU AKBAR! MasyaALLAH.

n wat was i doing when i was 15 years old? sec 3... happy go lucky mixing ard here n there.. zaman kejahilan... haha.. eessh.. ok ok...

ok.. then mlm tu... when to visit Akh Firdaus, fellow classmate in DPI, comrade in dakwah, an active player in Belia mjd Istiqamah, imam n muazzin sambilan in Mjd An-nahdhah... n he is in millennia institute.. yeap.. M.i. all those things he is already involve.. n yes.. he is only 19!!! at young age! when i was 19... i merely know nothing... good bro keep it up..
oh btw.. dia sakit... has been like demam panas since last 2 thursday.. rupa2nya, dia kena sakit batu karang.. kesian bro kita ni.. nasib sekolah da tutup.. now he is at CGH... syafakallah.. semoga cepat sembuh.. takpe.. hikmah nya sungguh beautiful insyaALLAH... take care bro..

Pagi ada perjumpaan hari raya at assyakirin.. (lain kali i letak gambar..) Kesian ust hasrudi... dia sakit pagi tu.. padahal dia yg invite ana.. takpe.. gd to noe ur ok already bro..
So, ada belia dorang nasyid.. lagu duhai bonda... aiseh.. good try.. but can be better of course.. i like the semangat.. next one, lagu Lima Cinta.. by Saujana, my pebret nasyid acapella song! so... erm.. tologn2 dorang sikit.. but i can only achieve so much in 1 hr practise time.. oklah takpe..
they did better then the prev one.. but more rooms 4 improvement...

then terjumpa firdaus, ex ntums pres. Sunday pon kerja.. kesian.. cari nafkah ni.. hehe.. so, got to noe, he is heading for tampines.. apelagi, being an opportunist, mintak tumpang! alhamdulillah...

met ust khairudin at Tempias MRT stn... then on our way to ukhti nurhafizah, our classmate in dpi.. dia jemput all dpi classmates bros n sis n the ust2 to her house.. for a small gathering openhouse thingy... great food... i went like 3 rounds? bak kata arwah director ahmad nisfu, "Ni bukan gagah, ni gejoloh! Eh salah! Gelojoh!"

Watever lah eh..

Nice family nice homey.. bila sampai sum sis dah sampai... ukhti erni, marlina, nuriahtu.. taklama gitu, imam al-hamidi datang... ermm.. actually nama dia Encik Abd Hamid. Kita saja gelar dia gitu, as he has great knowledge n so on..

Other bros who came are Akh Faizal, (barang baik punya...), Akh Wahid.. both with their family.. aku tukang buat magic n lawak tak menjadi layankan anak2 dorang... n so.. it ends sumwhere in the late afternoon..

Balik umah... KOW!!! among my pebret nephews! anak my bro!! Mu'az al-faqih and Thalha as-sodiq!! geram..!! layan dorang jer aah sampai mlm... hehe..

haiz... love me family... im a family man.. cuma sedih.. sumtimes my masa banyak pat luar.. takpelah, its for a good cause anyway... dengan usaha kita di jalan dakwah di luar rumah.. never forget to pray to ALLAH to protect and take care of ur family at home...

Ingat2 Di Syawal

A gentle reminder to my Muslim brothers and sisters in Islam. Eid visiting is not really something that you do for the sake of fun. Enjoying the visiting, 'attacking' from one home to another, laughing out loud over the jokes and old memories.

But really, there’s so much hikmah and beauty behind this whole idea of visiting. It’s the best time to draw things out even with your friend. The best is actually, it’s the time to strengthen the bond between you and your friends and their family members.

For your info, ziarah or eid visiting is a practice by the sahabah back then. Some ulama also mentioned that it is actually part of the activities of the 'ahli syurga'.

Nevertheless, putting across all these, there needs to be a reminder about adab and the things that you do and could do while you're out during eid visiting.

So take note:

- Call the owner of the home that you are going to visit in advance and give a rough time that you'll be arriving. This is so that the owner can pre-empt your arrival and prepare him/herself and have enough time to put on appropriate clothing to cover the aurah or whatsoever.

- Give your Salam of peace to the owner of the home. As Muslims we are encourage to spread Salam to all. As another form of du'a for them, that may they be in peace.

- Put your sight away from the inside of the house. Try not to peek inside from outside. It really is seem as rude. What if, the owner is not dressed appropriately? Or things at home are in a mess. Then you might have caused the owner to feel ashamed. So remember, after Salam, do not peek inside and push your sight away from the house. Look at the surroundings or the park in front. Until the owner comes to greet you at the door, then you can proceed on entering.

- When the owner has replied your Salam and greeting, do not come barge in until he/she invites you in. If not, seek permission before you come into the house.

- Till they invite you to sit and start with the 'kueh' make sure u don’t touch anything.

- Take good care of your eyes when you enter someone's home. Try not to be gorging your eyes, looking at the surroundings, the interior, the decorations, the furniture and start having ideas and thoughts about the owners. If we are not careful and not conscious about this, without us realising it, we tend to make bad impression and opinion on the owner sometimes, especially those who might come from the lower income family. Please do not look and see on worldly materials, but most important is to look into the hearts of the owner and the family.

When Nabi Musa a.s. was invited to Nabi Syu'aib's house, he took care of his adab and eyes. As he lower his gaze as he enter the home.

- Help. Do offer your assistance to the owner of the house if they need. Especially when you come with a whole group or 'bus' of friends. The owner would need to prepare lots of drinks and stuffs. So, a kind heart and helpful hands would be such a sweet thing to do.

- Have a mission when entering someone's home. Your ultimate goal for your mission is to get to know your friend and his/her family better. Especially those who you call them as your comrade or 'teman seperjuangan'. Find out who is their parents, what they do, how many siblings, what are they doing. Strike a conversation with them. Ask about their health, profession and more. Really, this is not to be busybody, but it’s really is to help us strengthen the ties and relationship with our comrade. So that we understand them better, and able to appreciate their difficulties that they face sometimes.

Whatever it is, Rasulullah enjoins us to get close and build that beautiful relationship with our comrades and their family members.
Ukhuwwahfillah. InsyaALLAH.

Remember, our own and our friends family comes 1st, before the other family outside that you build, even if it another organisation or outfits.

- And remember, whatever that you know and find out that could be 'keaiban' and a secret of the family or of their home, we should respect it and kept it close within the 4 walls of the house, and not to spread it out, and bring shame to the family. After all, we are brothers and sisters in Islam.

- Perhaps one last reminder to take note is, especially when we go out in big groups. We tend to have our own cliques or circle of friends and stick to it all the way. My friend calls this 'geng-geng taik ayam'. Well a nicer word to say is Assobiyah or berkelompok2. It’s really not nice. Why don’t you stop awhile and look around you. Somehow, ends up at least there is going to be person who might not be able to find his/her cliques, and tends to be alone all the way.

What we should do is to roam around, and get to know these other friends that’s within this whole big group. And who knows they do like your presence. Basically, take this opportunity to increase your circle of friends that could be of benefit to you and your dakwah.

Brothers and sisters in Islam. At the end of the day, it’s these 2 things that is the main thing that we should have at the back of our mind. 1) Adab & 2) Ukhuwwah.

Adab. It’s important as Muslims to take care of their adab, their akhlaq, not just in normal daily lives, but also for such occasion as Eid Visiting or Hari Raya visiting.

Ukhuwwah is important as it’s actually our support system in our life. When we are down, not only we have the help from ALLAH, but we have our friends to give us that morale support.

InsyaALLAH, may all this small effort be bless by ALLAH...
