What a LUNCH!!!
Subhanallah... WOW....
I had the most interesting lunch session!!
like.. haha... im like smiling now..
wat happen was...
I was happily eating my lunch.. alone.. as i came out late today..
Then suddenly.. There this tall, fair and handsome man (drama-mama)... came by and said,
"Could i join u, Hafiz?"
And accidentally, i hit n spilled my glass of drink.. (luckily it was plain cold water...)
I was Shock! terkejut beruk! haha.. "How in the world he knew my name???"
So he apologise for shocking me n offered to get me another glass of drink..
The thing is.. he knew me.. n i don't know him! How bad could i be. But i swear i've never met any know him before..
So apparently, his name is Vivek Sharma. Director of Development here in INSEAD. and.. guess wat. He is a MUSLIM!! tts the shocking thing! haha.. its not really suprising.. yeah kos there are ang-moh muslims ard in spore.. these ppl dont just go ryt smack infront of u telling that their muslims! u'll probably able to see them in the mosque during fri prayers...
Oh yah.. his msulim name is Muhammad Imran..
So we had an interesting conversation about he married a local lady, became a practising muslim.. living life as a muslim.. trying his best, alhamdulillah in Ramadhan.. yeah..
He shared about his son, 1, Ahmad, who just finish TP, ang giving him a p/t job in InnovAsia, while waiting for NS in June. But most of the time we were talking abt his 1st son, Ibrahim, who is currently paralysed almost the whole body. And now, he can only move his right arm. Only.
He just had gone through a devastating motorbike accident, 18 mths ago. He was riding R1 bike.. (for those who dont know) thats like one of the biggest bike, 1000CC. So, tt particular night, a van collides in him.. and yeah..
So now, for the rest of his life.. he is bed ridden not moving.. staying home.. (part ni dah touching) Can u imagine that... Mungkin masih ader harapan.. but.. its really, tts it, he broke his nect n back. So, nothing else.. Those are like D most vital part of ur body man.. Poor guy..
That was his turning-point of life.. Mite be too late, but better off though.. It could have been even worse. So now ibrahim, is becoming a more pious person. Doing the obligatory solat.. as well as the extra ones.. reading more stuffs on islam and all.. Alhamdulillah..
May ALLAH gave him strength to go through his daily hardship.
We had a long conversation, talking abt INSEAD, werk, life, business, Singapore, living live as a muslim.. Haiz... Subhanallah... Thanks for making my lunch an interesting one.. thats for now..
May ALLAH make us all muslims, STRONGER MUSLIMS, and feel closer to Him, and hold strong on our faith, and do what He asks, and not what He forbids! ALLAHU AKBAR!
